Snoqualmie Pass, Wash. December 17th, 2008 - Due to two recent storms, The Summit at Snoqualmie is pleased to announce the opening of the resort this Friday, December 19th, with limited operations. The Summit West base area will be operating from 9am-4pm.

“We’re obviously excited to kick-off the 2008-2009 winter season here at The Summit, especially with the promise of more snow predicted beyond this storm,” said Dan Brewster, general Manager. “We’d like to think that skiers’ and snowboarders’ patience will be handsomely rewarded.”

Additional base areas are expected to open in the coming days. Announcements regarding these openings as well as holiday operations will be announced on The Summit’s website at www.summitatsnoqualmie.com.
