FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ALPENTAL BIDS FAREWELL TO THE SEASON WITH CINCO DE MAYO CELEBRATION

Snoqualmie Pass, Wash. May 2, 2007Alpental will host its second Cinco de Mayo celebration in as many seasons this Saturday from 9am to 4pm. Guests will be greeted with $5.00 lift ticket prices, a costume contest, and food and beverage specials as they enjoy the last Saturday of the season.

“Thanks to loyal guests and a great spring skiing season, we are very pleased to once again celebrate Cinco de Mayo on the slopes,” said Holly Lippert, communications supervisor. “While the final date of our 2006-2007 season has been touch and go, this weekend will serve as the perfect wrap-up and celebration of another good year at The Summit.”

Guests are encouraged to dress up for the fiesta-themed costume contest, the winner of which will receive a free Big S Unlimited season pass for the 2007-2008 season. Prizes will also be awarded for second and third places.

Alpental will be open Saturday, May 5th, and Sunday, May 6th, from 9am-4pm, with Sunday being the final day of operations for the season. Sunday lift ticket prices will be $38 plus tax for adults, $26 plus tax for youth and seniors, and $9 plus tax for children.

The Summit at Snoqualmie is a proud partner with the USFS offering equal opportunity recreation.
