SKIING CONTINUES AT THE SUMMIT AT SNOQUALMIE AND ALPENTAL THIS WEEKEND

Snoqualmie Pass, Wash. April 23, 2009 - The Summit at Snoqualmie will be the only ski resort in King County operating for the last weekend of April, 2009. Alpental as well as Summit Central will operate from 9AM to 4PM both Saturday, April 25th, and Sunday, April 26th. The Summit Tubing Center will also operate both weekend days from 9AM to 3:30PM.

“The Summit is thrilled to offer skiers and snowboarders a chance to enjoy some more spring skiing,” said Dan Brewster, general manager for the Summit at Snoqualmie. “With the awesome snow we’ve received this spring, we simply want our customers to take advantage of arguably the best time of the ski season for one more weekend.”

Sunday will mark the last day of operations at Summit Central and the Summit Tubing Center for the 2008/2009 winter season. A final decision has not yet been made regarding the final day at Alpental. Any decisions to operate beyond this weekend will be announced via The Summit’s website, www.summitatsnoqualmie.com.
