EVENT RESULTS

The first annual Greenhorn Games was an overwhelming success with 48 future rippers showing up on another snowy day at The Summit. The kids sessioned the Greenhorn Acres park for 2 hours of non-stop shred action that left the guest judges with their work cut out for them. Thanks to Ride Snowboards, Sessions Outerwear, Oakley Goggles and of course guest emcee and Summit Syndicate rider Jesse Burtner who kept the kids charging and the parents laughing all day.

The Rain City Rail Jam set new records for itself this year with over 111 skiers and snowboarders bustin’ it out on the amazing rail setup provided by the Summit Park Crew. Gift bags for the first 75 competitors, a free BBQ and live music from local hip-hop artist Common Market rounded out the day.

Thanks to the 88 competitors that showed up for Jib This! to compete for a grip of cash and prizes from our great friends at CAPiTA, Union Bindings, POW Gloves, Think Thank, Smith, AirBlaster and Boarderline. The conditions were great and the riding was equally good. Guest judges Scott Stevens and Stacy Thomas had their work cut out for them picking out the best tricks in four stacked categories.
