The Summit Nordic Ski School offers professional instruction for track and skate disciplines, and offers a wide variety of lessons for all ability levels.
| Little Nords |
| Little Nords is an 8-week cross-country skiing and adventure program for kids ages 6-10. While learning track skiing, downhill Nordic skiing, and skating, kids will participate in our 8-week adventure game and all-mountain treasure hunt which culminates in the annual Junior Nordic Jamboree. |

| FreeHeelers |
| The FreeHeelers is an 8-week program for our advanced cross-country kids, ages 10-16. FreeHeelers will begin more intensive technique work on skating, classic and Nordic downhill. Students will ski the entire trail system, including tours around the Mt. Catherine loop. FreeHeelers may join the Junior Tele group for the last 4 weeks if they wish (alpine ticket or pass will be required for those weeks). Strong classic ski skills, strong Nordic downhill skills and basic skate skills are required. |

| Treasure Trails |
| Treasure Trails group lessons teach our youngest skiers (ages 4-6) the basics of Nordic skiing. Students will learn to ski in a directed manner in a track, straight run in the tracks, getting up, snowplow and turning with a snowplow. |

| Trailblazers |
| The Trailblazers is our program for 10-16 year olds who are beginners. If your 10-16 year old wants to learn cross-country skiing but has never or rarely ever cross-country skied, this is the group for them. Track skiing and Nordic downhill skills will be taught. |

| Junior Tele |
| Junior skiers ages 11-16 will learn how to telemark on backcountry metal-edged skis. We will work on telemark skills and off-piste skiing. Students must be experienced Nordic skiers and have no problems descending green alpine runs in a wedge on cross-country skis. An alpine ski ticket or pass is required for this program. |
