Snow Reporter Comments
Good afternoon and happy (re)opening day. Alpental is open for the first time since Sunday and it's for sure going to be a homerun. Six inches of fresh snow has fallen at pass level and even more in the upper elevations. Spring training might be over but Spring Skiing remains firmly in the Rotation. This new snow has provided a crucial refresh and should help with operations today and into the weekend ensuring there will be plenty of Runs for all to Score. Freezing levels have been hovering right around pass level so expect wet snow at the base areas getting increasingly dry with elevation. Both Alpental and Summit Central will be open today making for a perfect Double Play. So don't balk, grab your Rally Boots and get on up here. You won't want to get Shutout of the last powder day of the year! Go M's! -Ryan

Snowfall amounts for 12hr (overnight), 24hr, and 48hr timeframes are based on measurements taken at 5am daily. 24hr and 48hr snow totals are cumulative, so whatever fell in the last 24 is built into the 48. Between 5pm and 5am our weather data is automatically updated based on telemetry data from Northwest Avalanche Center and represents our overnight totals.
The "Since 5am" snowfall amount is based on manual measurements taken periodically throughout the day.
