The Alpental Freeride Öpen is an IFSA Junior Regional freeride competition skiers & snowboarders age 18 & under.
The best young skiers and snowboards will once again come from all over the PNW to throw down on the legendary terrain off Chair 2 for our 10th annual event. Whether you’re seeking glory, competing for the pure fun and excitement of it, or maybe just to prove that you can, we welcome all 18 & under skiers & snowboarders to sign up and take part in this epic experience!
IFSA MEMBERSHIP, BACK PROTECTORS, & HELMETS REQUIRED: This will be a scored IFSA Junior regional event. An IFSA membership is required for all participants. Memberships can be purchased directly from the IFSA website in annual and single competition increments. Helmets and back protectors are required for scored runs, as well as inspections.
Registration Opens Jan. 16
Registration for PNW Region competitors will open on Tuesday, January 17 at 7pm PST. Registration for out-of-region athletes will open Thursday, January 19 at 7pm PST.
We expect the 12-14 and 15-18 age categories to fill very quickly. If you do not have a current IFSA membership, we highly recommend purchasing your membership well in advance of attempting to register for the competition.
