At The Summit, we strive to create a space for LGBTQ+ members of our community to exist safely and authentically in the outdoors. We're so lucky to call this beautiful place our home mountain, and we want to make sure that anyone, and everyone, can call it theirs as well. 

Join us at Summit West for our inagural Pacific Crest Pride event, where we welcome LGBTQ+ members and allies alike to our home mountain! Enjoy group hikes, a live DJ set, raffle and more.

Group Hikes | 1pm

Join us for the group hike at Pacific Crest Pride! Please meet at The Summit tent on the plaza to check in and sign your participant waiver. We will divide into groups for your choice of hiking routes:

Option A - Scenic Chairlift Ride followed by a short hike to Lodge Lake 

  • Scenic Chairlift Ticket Required
  • Approximately 2.8 miles, round trip, to Lodge Lake and back to Pacific Crest Chairlift

Option B - Full hike from Summit West Base Area to Lodge Lake 

  • Approximately 3.75 miles, round trip

Be sure to check Washington Trails Association (WTA) Hiking Guide to determine if the Lodge Lake Hike matches your fitness level.

DJ Bad Tony | 3pm-5pm

Bad Tony is an eclectic musician known for his vibrant mixes that seamlessly blend disco, classic electro and house music. With a unique background as a ski patroller, raft guide, and pilot, he brings an adventurous spirit to his DJ sets. From the stark beauty of the Mojave Desert to the snowy slopes of Alta Ski Area and the pulsating energy of nightclubs in Utah and Texas, Bad Tony captivates diverse audiences with his performances at any location and any venue. He developed his tastes in dance music from his time spent going to clubs and warehouse parties in Berlin, Amsterdam, Tokyo, and Salt Lake City.  His diverse experiences and passion for music come together to create unforgettable musical journeys.

Raffle | 4pm

This event aims to raise funds to enhance winter sports accessibility for LGBTQ+ community members. Contributions and proceeds from the raffle will facilitate discounted tickets and lessons, promoting inclusive outdoor experiences for all.
