Sisters in Action Sports (SAS) is partnering with The Summit to welcome lady snowboarders and skiers for a Ladies Day on the mountain!
SAS Snow Day is a community-building event for ladies of all ages and abilities, both ski and board. We aim to encourage, empower, and increase participation in action sports at all levels. It truly is about building community, challenging each other, mentoring, inspiring, and meeting new friends. Try something you've done with support of female community. Together we are always better!
If you want to learn how to snowboard or ski, improve your skills, meet up with other shred ready ladies, have some seriously good times, or all of the above, this day was made for you! We will have vendors, huge raffle prizes, terrain park classes, and multiple sessions to ride with new and old friends.
- 8am-9am: Check in at Summit Central Plaza
- 9am: Announcements, form groups, meet friends, demo gear
- 12pm: Snacks, group photo, raffle #1
- 3:30pm: Snacks, raffle #2
- 4pm: End of event, keep riding with friends
Discounted Lift Tickets
If not a passholder select the lift ticket option when registering for the event. Walk-up lift tickets will be an additional $5.00 day of event.
Beginner Lesson Package
- Beginner lift ticket (valid only on beginner lifts)
- 1.75hr lesson
- Ski or snowboard equipment rental for the day
- Ages 13+
Sisters in Action Sports
Sisters in Action Sports (SAS) is a non-profit organization created by women who share the goal to inspire, educate, and support female participation in action sports. Their mission is to bring non-exclusive events that are designed by females, for females coast-to-coast. They strive to make these opportunities open to girls of all ages and skill level. SAS events are put on by experienced female facilitators who encourage a positive and welcoming environment, in the hopes of making action sports more accessible and attainable to all. Due to their ongoing support, SAS aims to expand community involvement to provide more well-rounded opportunities for girls.
