What's included
This program includes coaching sessions for the time shown above on the day(s) chosen. Mountain access in the form of a lift ticket or season pass is required, but not included. Ski equipment (skis, boots, poles, etc) is required, but not included.
Please Note: We recommend purchasing a season pass with your lesson. The earlier you buy, the lower the price. You may choose a pass to add to your cart after selecting a multi-week lesson program in our online store.

Our goal is to maximize the student's time while focusing on safety, fun, and learning. A typical lesson will follow the outline below:
- The first 15 minutes of the lessons is used for welcoming students, discussing goals, checking equipment, and warmup activities.
- Lessons will depart the meeting area approximately 15 minutes after the scheduled start time. If a student is late, we will make a reasonable effort to connect them with their group, but this is not always possible.
- For the majority of the lesson time, students will be actively engaged in skiing or snowboarding - building the skills to slide on snow. However, instructors may incorporate breaks as needed based on age, ability, weather, and other factors.
- Breaks may be indoors or outdoors depending on the circumstance.
- Instructors aim to return to the meeting area 10 minutes before the lesson's scheduled end time. This allows instructors to recap the day’s activities, answer questions, and transition the students back to parents or guardians.
- We encourage you to be present during this time.
- To ensure a smooth pickup, parents or guardians should plan to arrive at the meeting area before the scheduled lesson end time.
- The first 15 minutes of the lessons is used for welcoming students, discussing goals, checking equipment, and warmup activities.

Alpentyke Eligibility Requirements
-
We will begin considering and processing applications in the fall. Parents will be contacted by our Sales Team at that time and will run through a series of questions to help determine if Alpentykes is a good fit for their family and for the program. Parents will be notified at that time if their 3-year-old has been accepted into the program. At that time we will take payment in full for the program.
-
Please do not plan for the rest of your family based on your 3 year-old getting into Alpentykes. We will not hold places for other family members in other programs based on whether or not your 3 year-old gets into Tykes.
-
We ask that all Alpentykes are 3 years old prior to the program start date.
-
All Alpentykes must be potty trained prior to program start date.
-
Each Alpentyke must have prior experience with being seperated from parents for periods of time. Out one-on-one instruction is second to none however this prior experience makes each lesson the best it can be.
-
It's vital that our trained instructors create a meaningful connection with your little one, this is a lot easier when a parent separates and allows this connection to occur naturally.
-
We want your little one to have the best time while with their instructor. It is important that they can communicate with their instructors right from the start.
-
If your child has not had good experiences in the past seperated from you during a sport or activity, this program may not be the right fit.
-
Familiarizing your child with this equipment prior to been the wet/cold enviroment is key to your childs comfort during the program.
-
The mountain enviorment is not welcoming to many that don't understand it. We create a freindly welcoming enviroment, however, wet/cold conditions do exist and we want to ensure your child has some experience being outside and enjoying the different conditions.
-
We all want your child to enjoy snowsports and playing on the snow. This is drastically supported when your child is already interested having fun with the snow.
