Rules & Information

  • Yes, all riders must unload at the top of the chair. Riders then reload the chair to descend.

  • No, Scenic Chair lift tickets are for foot-passengers during the Summer Season only. Bikes, mountain boards, skis, snowboards, and other sporting equipment is not allowed on the lift.

  • Yes, however, we recommend parents of infants or toddlers consider the length and nature of the chairlift ride before choosing to take them on the lift. If you choose to take an infant on the lift, we recommend they ride in a baby wrap/harness style carrier attached to parent. Backpack baby carriers, strollers, and other types of carriers are not permitted on the lift. Parents may want to consider waiting at the bottom with their infant/toddler while the rest of the group/family takes a ride, taking turns on the lift.

All children should be accompanied by an adult throughout the entirety of the chairlift ride and visit to the mountain.  No matter the age, it’s the parent’s responsibility to ensure children sit still and hold on for the duration of the ride.

  • The Summit in the summer is a dog friendly place!

While we do not allow pets on the chairlift, dogs on leashes are allowed in all outdoor areas at the mountain in the summer. Please cleanup after your pet no matter the area (even if you're on grass, dirt, a trail or road), as a pet owner it's your responsibility. Dogs off-leash are not permitted anywhere on property, or in parking lots.

  • No, winter season passes are not valid for lift rides in the summer.
