East Park is Open

East park is now open and firing every weekend! Like our Alpy Park, the park over at East has been the subject matter of countless dreams for years. The day has finally come, and East has the ideal slope to build on! We've been receiving a lot of requests for more snow features, so the East Park contains just that!

Location

Accessed via Rampart Chair or East Peak Chair, the park entrance is on Creek Run just beyond the entrance to Kendall. You have the option to drop into East Park or drop into Serpentine.

Features

Current park features:

  • 4-jump line
  • mini quarter pipe with a hip option (below jump line)

Serpentine:

What is Serpentine? It's a ridiculously fun, flowing, banked trail that slithers its way through the woods between Kendall and Cutoff. This thing is a good time no matter what you ride; Snow Skate, Ski Bike, Skis, or Snowboard. Our groomer operators accentuate the turns for maximum flow.

PEEPs Pass

A Summit Parks PEEPs Pass is required to access East Park, but it is not required to slide down Serpentine. If you don't have a PEEPs Pass yet, take 5 minutes to take the course HERE, then bring $5 to guest services and you'll be all set!

Summit East, the base area formally known as Hyak, has a long history of progressing freestyle skiing and snowboarding. From some of the first snowboard competitions EVER, to Holy Oly's, to making Syndicate Legend Austin Hironaka's dream rhythm section come to life, Summit East has been a breeding ground of awesomeness. While the jumps are not quite as gnarly as Travis Rice bomb-dropping off the water tower over there, they fit right in. East is the perfect place to choose your "send-i-ness". Whether you prefer cruising the groomers, popping powdery pillows, or getting that switch back 5 dialed, East provides!

Come jump around, rip down Rampart, and say hi to us as you pop into the latest rad park zone at The Summit!
