Let the 2017-18 Season Begin
We are very excited to announce that The Summit at Snoqualmie will open for the 2017-2018 winter season on December 2, 2017. Following the foot or so (even more mid-mountain and up) of fresh snow that fell Tuesday into Wednesday morning the mountain has enough coverage to kick this thing off! It's time to go skiing and snowboarding, so get up here and join us this Saturday! We're stoked to open a bit earlier than normal this year and happy to see the weekend forecast looks snowy with a possible refresh each day!

Snow depth is low, so please look ahead and watch for both marked and unmarked hazards. Conditions and coverage will be best on the main runs. Ski and ride with care, it's just the first weekend and we all want to enjoy a long and fun season!
Lesson Options
The Summit SnowSports School will be offering a range of lessons all weekend. For beginners we have the First Class program available at our registration desk (advanced reservations not available this weekend) for the discounted price of $179. Kids Club will be open for kids ages 4-12 (no advanced reservations available this weekend), check in at the Summit West rental shop. Half-day Kids Club package will be $129 this weekend. Private lessons are also available all weekend.
Terrain Parks - Jib Creek
Summit Parks is prepping Jib Creek at Summit West for opening weekend and the crew plans to have the satellite park open Saturday and Sunday. Stay tuned to our website and the Summit Parks Instagram for feature updates and what to expect on Jib Creek.
Tubing
Snow depth at The Summit Tubing Center is not quite where it needs to be to flip the switch on the magic carpet and let all of you start ripping down the slope. One or two more storms could get it there though, so stay tuned. We do expect the Tubing Center to be open before the holidays.
Continued Operations
We plan to close Summit West for Monday-Tuesday, then reopen for day time operations Wednesday-Sunday. Just like every season, we will open Summit Central and Alpental as soon as snow depth and conditions permit. Typically Summit Central is second to open, with Alpental following not too far behind. It's all about snowfall, so hopefully it continues and we can open up more terrain and areas in the near future.
The Nordic Center usually opens after Alpental is operating. Summit East historically opens in conjunction with the December holidays.
Guest Services & Season Passes
Open 8am-4pm all weekend.
Have you ordered your season pass, but haven't received it in the mail yet? No worries, you can pick it up at Summit West Guest Services. You can get your pass photo taken at there as well. Summit West Guest Services will be open 8am-4pm, so stop in and we'll get you set and out on the hill as quickly as possible.
