More Terrain For Early December

All of our on-hill and base area teams have been working hard this week to prepare Summit Central and Alpental for opening. We're very happy to announce that both areas will open for the season on December 9, 2017 and we plan to have all the usual lifts open at each area right from the start to give you plenty of variety and hundreds more acres of fun terrain. Beginning this Saturday, Summit Central will be open daily for the season.

Lift tickets will be our regular off-peak prices at the window. We plan to have tickets available online by Thursday morning, buy in advance and save.

The weekend forecast looks beautiful. Come get some turns!

Caution: Early Season Conditions Exist

Snow depth is low, so please look ahead and watch for both marked and unmarked hazards. Conditions and coverage will be best on the main runs. Ski and ride with care, it's just the first weekend and we all want to enjoy a long and fun season!

Guest Services & Season Pass Pickup

Summit West guest services is open 8am-4pm daily for season pass pickup, photos, and purchases. If you haven't received your pass in the mail yet, stop in and we'll get you out on the hill as quickly as possible. We recommend picking up your pass at Summit West as we're able to process and print quicker at that location.

Tubing & Summit East

We know many of you are itching to fly down our tubing hill, but we still need more coverage there to build the tubing lanes. Our snow removal and grooming teams are working together to farm snow in hopes that we can get enough snow on the tubing hill to open this weekend, but as of publish time we're uncertain if it'll be enough. Summit East is scheduled to open later in December conditions permitting.

We'll have more information about Nordic trails soon.

Terrain Parks - Jib Creek

We're focusing our efforts on Jib Creek at Summit West this week and plan to add more features for the weekend. The Summit Parks crew is also working on setting a variety of boxes in Greenhorn Acres for opening weekend at Summit Central. Perfect for easing into riding parks for the season! We don't plan on having Central Park open this weekend, but it shouldn't be too far behind! A Summit Parks PEEPs Pass will be required to ride Jib Creek this weekend, but not at Greenhorn Acres.
