Summit Central To Open For Season

Conditions are getting better every day up here! Santa even stopped in to sample the goods on Wildside after the mountain was blanketed in 4-5" of fresh snow last night! The forecast is currently calling for the heavy snowfall to continue into this evening. That additional snow means we can finally open Summit Central for the season! Plus Wildside is now open for anyone that wants a little more thrill in their descents.

LIMITED LIFTS & TERRAIN AT SUMMIT CENTRAL: Terrain and lifts at Summit Central will be limited to Holiday and beginner slopes initially, but we are closely monitoring snow depth/coverage on Central Express and Triple 60. We hope to be able to open those soon as well, so stay tuned for more updates Friday and through the weekend.

CAUTION: Early Season Conditions Exist

Snow depth is low, so please look ahead and watch for both marked and unmarked hazards. Conditions and coverage are best on the main runs and upper half of the mountain. There's less coverage on lower slopes and terrain approaching the bottom of the lifts so please slow down in those areas. Ski and ride with care, it's only the first week and we all want to enjoy a long and fun season!
