Mountain Biking at The Summit

At the peak of mountain biking along the I-90 corridor in Washington State, you'll find everything from classic flowing forest trails to rowdy rock slabs and technical downhill descents. Hitting the trails is fast and convenient thanks to easy parking right at the lodge and a high-speed quad to take you to the top.

Operations Update

Unfortunately, winter is being a bit stubborn at the moment, so we’re trimming back our operations to focus on areas that will provide the best possible experience with the snow we have. With conditions and coverage deteriorating at a few areas, we’re going to pivot to Summit West and Alpental next week, until we see a change in conditions.

Summit West:
• Open 9am-9:30pm daily through Saturday, Jan. 24

Summit Central:
• Open 9am-5pm Sunday, Jan. 18 & Monday, Jan. 19
• Closed Tuesday, Jan. 20 through Friday, Jan. 23

Silver Fir:
• Open 10am-4pm though Monday, Jan. 19, conditions permitting
• Closed Tuesday, Jan. 20 through Friday, Jan. 23

Summit East & Nordic:
• Open 9am-3:30pm Saturday-Sunday, Jan. 17-18
• Closed Monday, Jan. 19 and Friday, Jan. 23

Alpental:
• Alpental open 9am-4pm daily, with a 10am opening for Edelweiss Chair and limited terrain due to extremely hard refrozen snow conditions.

Thanks for your understanding as we make these pivots. Our goal is always to provide as much as we can, no matter what Mother Nature throws our way. We hope to reopen some of these lifts and areas next weekend, but it all depends on conditions and snow depth.
