Signed Liability Waiver Required to Participate
To participate in the Bike Park Rodeo, all riders must sign a liability waiver. The waiver also serves as your registration, so make sure to sign up ahead of time!
Bike Park Rodeo
You may be wondering, what is a Bike Park Rodeo? It's a fun series of four competitions. You can participate in one, or all four.
- Youth Downhill Sprint (ages 14 & under)
- Bunny Hop Contest (all ages)
- Last Man Standing (all ages)
- Manual Barrel Race (all ages)
The bunny hop, last man standing contests, and manual barrel race start at 1pm in the parking lot below the hillside berm, lookers right of the Silver Fir Lodge. Liability waiver and helmets are required. To register, simply sign the liability release - coming soon!
Youth Downhill Sprint | 11am-12:30pm
This youth downhill race is a drop-in, timed event that will run from the top of The Loop trail down to the bridge. Summit Crew will be timing from 11am to 12:30pm with awards at 2pm at the start of the Bunny Hop contest.
- Format: Timed race on the designated portion of The Loop trail. Riders get up to two laps each, the best lap counts!
- Divisions: Kids 10 & Under | Kids 11-14
- Prizing through 3rd place for each division
- Helmet and liability waiver required
Bunny Hop Contest | 1:00pm
Last Man Standing | Approx. 1:45pm
In the Last Man Standing challenge, it's all about balance! This competition starts following the Bunny Hop contest.
The goal is to stay upright on your bike without letting your feet touch the ground for as long as possible. The last rider standing wins!
Barrel Race | Approx. 2:30pm
New this year to the Bike Park Rodeo is the Manual Barrel Race! This competition will start following the last man standing competition.
The challenge is to complete the course as quickly as possible while maintaining a manual through the turns. Can you balance speed and skill to pull it off?
