Opening Day at Summit West
The Wait is Over!
Here we go, winter 2024-25 is finally here! Our base depth doubled over the weekend, giving us enough snow to make the announcement you’ve been eagerly awaiting. We're stoked to share that the season kicks off this Tuesday, Dec. 17th at Summit West.
As usual, opening day is for Summit at Snoqualmie and Ikon passholders only.
We can't wait to get the lifts spinning and welcome you back to Your Home Mountain. Join us for a fun opener, plus First Chair prizes and more at Pacific Crest.
LIMITED OPERATIONS
Opening Day Details
Opening day is reserved for Summit at Snoqualmie and Ikon passholders.
- Planned Lifts: Pacific Crest, Little Thunder, Julies, Dodge Ridge.
- We hope to add a carpet as well
- Wildside will not be open, but we plan to open it very soon!
Summit West is scheduled to run 9am-4pm all week and lift tickets are available starting Wednesday, Dec. 18th.

More Opening Information
Lessons are not available for opening day, but they are available starting Wednesday, December 18th. Lesson availability and levels will be limited until we have more terrain and grooming.
Yes, Ikon and Summit at Snoqualmie passholders may use buddy ticket discounts on opening day and beyond.
Summit passholders can issue their friends and family ticket vouchers from the “My Account” section of our online store.
Ikon passholders can issue buddy ticket discounts via their Ikon Pass account.
Our team is turning their attention to Summit Central and Alpental next. Opening day for both of those areas is still TBD (as of 12/15), but we plan to get them open as soon as possible.
Our target for night skiing operations is next week, as long as snow coverage allows.
Summit East and the Nordic Center have a scheduled opening of December 26th as long as snow depth and conditions permit.
