Our most popular freeride program, this 12-week program is focused on the full spectrum of freeride skill development. With the goal of learning cliffs, drops and jumps, and cranking out inspiring turns between; athletes should already be comfortable skiing or riding off-piste black diamond terrain. Alpental Freeride uses all available terrain for athlete progression, including; steeps, bumps, race courses, groomers, etc.

Is Alpental Freeride The Right Fit?
Alpental Freeride is for athletes that aren't quite ready for the very high-level Freeride Team focused on competition, but are skiing or riding at a level well beyond our other programs like Mighties or Central6. Athletes should be able to confidently ski or ride off-piste black diamond terrain in all conditions and all lifts at The Summit/Alpental. They should already know how to carve, ride bumps, steeps, and maintain dynamic balance in all challenging terrain. We find that most Mighties students are not ready for this program.
Alpental Freeride is coached by the best locally grown athletes. They are all highly involved with the freeride scene and are not only extremely talented riders, but also great coaches. Look to them for knowledge, experience, and inspiration.

What's Included
This program includes coaching sessions for the time shown above on the day(s) chosen. Mountain access in the form of a lift ticket or season pass is required, but not included. A discounted Alpental Plus Season Pass is available at checkout for ages 14-17. Ski or snowboard equipment is required, but not included. Lunch is not included.
