Play the all-new Thunderbird Disc Golf Course at Summit West! This unique mountain course starts at the top of the Pacific Crest Chairlift, then it descends through tight forests, into meadows, and onto the open slopes with amazing views of the surrounding peaks. Disc golfers can choose to play the long tees (blue) or short tees (red), depending on skill level or challenge desired. The red course is fun for all ages and ability levels.
If you purchase a scenic chairlift ride ticket or a Summit West Summer Pass, this waiver must be signed during checkout. The waiver only needs to be signed once per year. By signing the waiver you help keep this course open, free, and accessible via hiking trail. It also gives us important participation information.

Get a lift! On Saturdays & Sundays you can use Pacific Crest Chairlift to get to the top of the course. Single-day lift tickets are available for $20, or get a Summit West Summer pass to use Pacific Crest all season for just $40. The lift operates 10:30am-5:30pm.
We plan to open three additional holes in the future, with a full 18-hole course available for summer 2025.
Need a disc or set of discs to play with? We have custom Summit logo discs available for purchase at the pro shop in the Summit West upper plaza near the bottom of the chairlift.
Sets include three discs - putter, midrange, and driver. Rental discs are not available.
