With a vast network of groomed trails weaving through the forests of the Central Cascade Mountains, The Summit Nordic Center provides a unique and convenient escape for cross-country skiers in the region. Explore the upper network for stunning views and variety, or ski the Mt. Catherine loop for an epic outing.

Nordic Trail Tickets
Nordic trail tickets must be purchased online and then picked up at the Nordic Center before heading out on the trails. Cellular network service is poor at the lodge, so we recommend taking a screenshot of your confirmation barcode for faster pickup.
All users of the trails are required to have either a day ticket or a season pass.

Chairlift Access
To upload East Peak Chair or Silver Fir Express using a Nordic Trail Pass or Nordic Season Pass, you must be using Nordic equipment. An alpine lift product is required when using alpine ski or snowboard equipment.
Chairlift Uploads
The Nordic Season Pass allows up to two uploads per day (when the Nordic Center is open) on either Silver Fir Express or East Peak Chair. Last upload is at 2pm.
Chairlift Downloads
Nordic skiers accessing the trails are only permitted to download on Silver Fir Express. Downloads are only available at 12pm and 3pm.
Nordic Ski Rentals
Rent the latest Salomon and Alpina equipment online, then stop by the Nordic Center to get fitted and hit the trails. Our equipment technicians are here to make sure you have a comfortable fit for the best experience on snow.
Nordic Private Lessons
This lesson, for up to 4 people, is tailored to all skill levels in Classic or Skate techniques. Sessions are available in 1- or 2-hour blocks and require online booking at least 72 hours in advance. Spots are limited, so reserve early!
Nordic Lessons will be available pending opening of Summit East Nordic Center.
Upper Trails Lesson Tour
Explore our famous upper trail system and learn the skills and tricks to descending back to the lower trails. This lesson is perfect for intermediate-level skiers who are ready to improve their uphill and downhill control, all while learning the rewarding upper trails from an expert instructor.
This lesson tour is 2.5 hours and you can bundle a discounted trail ticket and rental package at checkout.
Nordic Lessons
Ready to learn how to Nordic ski? Or just want to elevate your skills? We teach skate skiing and classic techniques at the Nordic Center and have lesson options for all ages and ability levels.
Ages 13+Nordic Triple Play
You'll learn all of the basic techniques needed to safely and comfortably ski the local Nordic trails with the Triple Play Lesson Program.
Ages 4-6Treasure Trails
Designed just for youngsters, Treasure Trails teaches kids the basics of Nordic skiing in a fun group environment.
Ages 18+JNP Parents
While the kids are away the parents will... Ski! The JNP Parents lesson program is designed to fit just right for the parents of students in the Junior Nordic Program. Each lesson starts shortly after the junior program and finishes just in time to meet your kids for lunch.
Nordic Season Pass
The Nordic Pass is for ages 7-69. Children under 6 years old are eligible for free tickets at the Nordic ticket window. This pass allows two uploads per day on either Silver Fir Express or East Peak Chair.
All users of the trails are required to have either a day ticket or a season pass.
Nordic season passes are available through Jan. 15.

The Summit Nordic Center is located at Summit East, with Nordic rentals, tickets, and services inside the Milwaukee Lodge.
