Website Accessibility Statement
This website seeks to comply with best practices and standards, as defined by level AA of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0. These guidelines set forth how to make the internet user friendly and content accessible for individuals with disabilities.
Pages of this website are being assessed with the WAVE validation tool from WebAIM and checkmycolours.com, to evaluate for compliance to accessibility guidelines. This is an ongoing process to improve the content accessibility of our websites and this page will be updated as progress permits. New website builds and redesigns will also be evaluated with the same accessibility tools and resources during construction.
Known Accessibility Issues
We are currently working to fix the following issues:
- An issue preventing the image alt text applied to images/graphics from displaying in the footer of the site
- Improving color contrast between content and background color
- Stylizing links to display with underline
